7 reasons study centres reject assignments

  • Front page is missing required fields (name, enrolment number, course code, session)
  • Enrolment number is wrong or illegible
  • Course code does not match the session's question paper
  • Submitted at a different study centre than your allotted one
  • Several courses behind a single cover page
  • PDF file exceeds the 10 MB limit for online submission
  • Submission after the last date announced by your regional centre

How to fix a rejected assignment

For each rejection reason, there is a straightforward fix. Most rejections happen because of preventable mistakes.

Wrong front page
Use the front page generator. It fills every field correctly in 2 minutes.
Wrong enrolment number
Copy it directly from your ID card. Do not use the application number.
Wrong course code
Download the current session's question paper and copy the exact code.
Wrong centre
Check your ID card for the correct study centre code and name.
File too big
Scan at 150 DPI and use the PDF merger tool to compress under 10 MB.
Late submission
Contact your study centre immediately. Some centres accept late submissions with a fine.

Preventing rejection in the first place

  • Fill the front page using the generator — no manual handwriting of codes
  • Verify the course code and session against the current question paper
  • One PDF per course, one cover page per course
  • Keep a stamped receipt from every submission
  • Submit 3-5 days before the last date to allow for corrections

Frequently asked questions

Can I resubmit my rejected assignment?
Yes. Fix the problem, regenerate the front page if needed, and resubmit before the last date. Get a new stamped receipt.
Will a rejected assignment count towards my marks?
No. A rejected assignment that is resubmitted on time will be evaluated normally. It only affects you if you do not resubmit before the deadline.
How many times can my assignment be rejected?
There is no fixed limit, but each rejection wastes time and risks missing the deadline. It is better to get it right the first time using the tools on this site.
