The order the file should have

  1. Cover page
  2. IGNOU ID card, if the notice asks for it
  3. Assignment question paper, if the centre wants it in the same file
  4. Handwritten answers, in question order

After you have a PDF you can merge it with a separately generated cover if the cover was printed first. Keep the whole course under 10 MB.

How to keep it readable and small

  • Use the rear camera. Front cameras smear handwriting.
  • Fill the frame with the page. Tiny writing in a huge table photograph wastes megabytes.
  • Turn off beauty filters and HDR if the paper turns grey.
  • Do not photograph a computer screen of a previous scan.

Frequently asked questions

Are the photos uploaded?
No. Compression and PDF building happen in this browser tab. Close the tab and the files are gone.
Why is HEIC failing?
Some browsers cannot decode iPhone HEIC. Open the photo in the gallery, export JPEG, and add that file instead.
Does this replace a proper scanner?
For LMS upload, a well-lit phone photo is usually enough. For a study-centre paper bundle, print the answers; do not submit a stack of photographs on paper.
