This is not the assignment cover

Tutor-marked assignments (TMA) need a different first sheet — name, enrolment, course code, assignment code. A project or synopsis needs the project title and usually a supervisor. Stapling a TMA cover onto a dissertation is how files get bounced at the counter.

There is no university-wide specimen. MCA, MBA, MAPC and MSW each publish a handbook. If that PDF shows a title page, copy it. Use this generator only when the handbook lists the fields but does not draw the page.

What usually goes on the cover

  • Your name and enrolment number, copied from the ID card
  • Programme code and course / project code from the handbook
  • The exact project or synopsis title
  • Supervisor or guide name, if allotted
  • Study centre code, session, mobile number, email

Frequently asked questions

Will every study centre accept this cover?
Only if your handbook does not prescribe a specimen. If it does, use the specimen. This PDF carries the identifying fields most centres still need when no layout is printed.
Can I type the title in Hindi?
Not in the generated PDF. Standard PDF fonts drop Devanagari. Write the title in Latin letters, or print a blank sheet and fill the title by hand.
Is this the same as the assignment front page tool?
No. That tool is for tutor-marked assignments. This one is labelled Project / Synopsis Submission and includes the project title and supervisor fields.
