How to check your IGNOU result
A result notice tells you the term-end paper was evaluated. The grade card tells you whether the course is finished. Students mix the two up every cycle.

Result list and grade card are not the same document

If a job form asks for “result”, they usually want the grade card print plus a completed status, not a screenshot of a result PDF. If they want a marksheet after you finish the programme, that is a different document.
Use the right grade-card form
CBCS, BCA/MCA/MP and other programmes sit on three different lookups.

IGNOU publishes TEE results on ignou.ac.in. There is no single permanent “result login” that never moves. Bookmarking last year’s URL is how people land on a parked domain asking for an OTP.
- Start on ignou.ac.in. Follow the notice for that session only.
- Ignore “IGNOU result 2026” pages that want a phone number before they show marks.
- Early declaration, if you applied for it, is a separate notice with a separate fee. It is not the main TEE list.
If your enrolment is not on the list
- Wait for the next batch. Checking hourly does not add your row.
- Confirm you filled the exam form for that course. No form, no result row.
- Confirm you sat the paper. An absent mark will not look like a missing row — it looks like absent, once that batch is up.
- After a week of the notice saying “complete”, write to the regional centre with enrolment number, course code, exam centre and hall-ticket copy.
After the number appears
Read the TEE mark. Then open the grade card and check the assignment column. A 52 in theory with a blank assignment is still Not Completed. That is the usual reason a course “failed” after a pass in the exam.
Unhappy with the TEE mark?
Photocopy and re-evaluation are a timed window after the result, with a fee per course. They do not change assignment marks.
