Exam form last date and assignment last date are not the same window
Students miss TEE because they treated the assignment deadline as the exam-form deadline, or the other way around. They are two forms, two offices, two calendars.

Two last dates, two jobs

Submitting the assignment does not fill the exam form. Paying the exam-form fee does not submit the TMA. Re-registration is a third payment if you need the next semester’s courses.
Typical order — not a promise
- June TEE
- Assignment first-print date is often 31 March. Exam form usually opens later in the spring. Both move.
- December TEE
- Assignment first-print date is often 30 September. Exam form follows in the autumn. Both move.
Write the first printed date for each form in a calendar. Extensions are common. Waiting for an extension is how people miss both. The deadline tracker counts the usual assignment date. It is not the exam-form clock.

Open the checklistIf you finish only one of them
- Assignment in, exam form missed: the TMA can sit on the card while you wait for the next TEE window. You still fill a form later.
- Exam form in, assignment missed: you may get a hall ticket. The course often stays Not Completed. See TEE without assignment.
- Both missed: next session. Do not pay a WhatsApp “late fee agent”. Late windows, when they exist, are named on ignou.ac.in.
Where to read the live dates
Open ignou.ac.in notices for “Assignment” and, separately, “Examination Form”. Secondary sites copy last year’s table. The circular for this June or December is the only date that matters.
Practicals, project vivas, and some professional programmes publish extra slips. Those are not hidden inside the theory assignment notice.
